Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the single GoldMate iOS app identified by bundle ID vip.tbox.goldmate handles information. It applies to the same App Store product when used in mainland China or in other supported regions. It does not replace the separate policies for our web or Android products.
1. Information stored on your device
GoldMate stores the preferences and calculator inputs needed to provide the app locally, including your selected region, language, currency, weight unit, gold price assumptions, holding quantity, and average cost. These values remain on your device unless you choose to share them with us, and are removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
To administer one automatic 7-day trial, the app creates a random installation token in the iOS Keychain. The token contains no name, contact details, advertising identifier, or holding data, and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. The system may retain the Keychain token after an uninstall so repeated installs cannot repeatedly receive a trial.
2. Information used to provide live reference data
When you are online, the app requests reference gold-price data from the service associated with your selected region and exchange-rate data from open.er-api.com. The requests are made over HTTPS so the app can display conversions in your selected currency and unit.
The app does not send your holding quantity, average cost, or calculator history as part of these reference-data requests. Network providers may process ordinary technical information such as an IP address, request time, user agent, and server logs according to their own policies.
A trial-status request sends the random installation token over HTTPS to the /api/trial endpoint of the service for your selected region. The service derives a non-reversible SHA-256 digest of the token and stores only that digest and the time the trial started, so it can tell when the 7-day trial ends. It does not retain the original token, holdings, calculator history, or Apple transaction data. This record is used only to run the trial; it is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising or tracking. The digest record is automatically removed after about 400 days.
When the app starts, it loads display fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). As with any web request, Google may receive your IP address and ordinary request information, which it handles under the Google Privacy Policy. No calculator or holding data is included in these requests.
3. Purchases and subscriptions
Optional monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, and the optional one-time Lifetime Pro purchase (which does not renew), are processed through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. Apple handles payment, billing, and the Apple ID relationship. GoldMate currently checks the resulting entitlement locally on the device and does not upload the StoreKit signed transaction to our own server.

4. Information we do not currently collect in the iOS app
- No account registration or sign-in is required.
- We do not request your phone number, contacts, photos, videos, microphone, or precise location.
- The current iOS app does not upload analytics events or use advertising or cross-app tracking.
- The current iOS app does not use a payment processor other than Apple App Store or any brokerage service.
5. Support communications
If you contact support at 9342306@qq.com, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, message, screenshots, and diagnostic details. We use it only to respond to your request, investigate problems, and keep appropriate support records.
6. Sharing, retention, and security
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to deliver the functions described above, with Apple for App Store purchases, or when required by law. Trial-token digests are retained for up to about 400 days. We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for the support, legal, security, or dispute-resolution purpose involved. We use HTTPS for network requests, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Children
GoldMate is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact support so we can review the request.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app's data practices change or when clarification is needed. The effective date at the top will be updated when a new version is published. Questions about this policy can be sent to 9342306@qq.com.
